We appreciate that the situation is changing all the time but here are the key things you need to know:

23RD JUNE 2020 GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

We are delighted to hear the Governments announcement today regarding the further lifting of restrictions. Hotels will be able to open in England from 4 July. Scotland has already announced that hotels there will be able to open from 15 July and Wales is expected to allow its hotels to open from 13 July.

We cannot wait to welcome you at one of our unique hotels soon and you can be assured that your safety remains our absolute number 1 priority.

10TH MAY 2020 GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

We have always put guest safety and security first at Best Western Great Britain. That is more important today, more than ever.

We are encouraged by the Prime Minister's statement tonight about hospitality businesses possibly opening from July, but rest assured, we will only open our hotels when it is safe and right to do so.

We won't rush, we will get it right, so you can return and stay with us with confidence. We look forward to that day.

HOTEL CLOSURES

Due to the current coronavirus crisis, all our hotels in GB are closed to the general public for the foreseeable future and likely to be until the end of May 2020. There are a few exceptions to this – including NHS and Key Workers. The full list of exceptions is outlined here. We’re constantly reviewing the situation and these dates may change. You are of course welcome to book at stay at one of our brilliant hotels for any time later in the year

CANCELLATIONS

Given the current situation, we have encouraged our hotels in GB to exercise flexibility with regards to adherence to booking cancellation policies. However, it is important to note that Best Western GB is a collection of independently owned and operated hotels, and each hotel will be the decision maker in this regards. Any guest wishing to cancel or move a booking should contact the hotel directly.
